Heather Strand

With 18 years of experience in the construction industry, Heather oversees NIT’s accounting operations, financial accuracy, and budget forecasting. Within the public, private, and private equity sectors, she has managed portfolios up to $700 million; she also has handled more than 200 projects from initial contract negotiations to final certificates of completion. These transactions require rigorous fiduciary integrity and compliance – something for which Heather is uniquely qualified.

She holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University. Throughout her career, Heather has excelled at working directly with investors’ accounting departments and lenders to provide sound financial oversight of asset investment from debt origination to property sale. As a member of NIT’s management team, she plays an invaluable role in the company’s direction and growth.
